Working principle of magneto rheological shock absorber

Magnetorheological shock absorbers utilize electromagnetic reactions to provide real-time responses to road conditions and driving environments based on input information from monitoring vehicle and wheel motion sensors. Magnetorheological fluid is a type of magnetic soft particle suspension. When the liquid is injected into the electromagnetic coil inside the shock absorber piston, the magnetic field of the coil will change its rheological properties (or generate fluid resistance), thereby producing a rapid and controllable damping force in the case of electronic control valves and simple mechanical devices.
